Chapter 1: The History of the Theory of Evolution
Individual scientists fall into one of three categories: From a scientific perspective, it is impossible to disprove the second group because God is capable to doing anything He wants to do. However, to simplify the discussion, in this book the second group will not be discussed. The focus of this book will be the first group (the atheists) versus the third group (those who believe God created all things by using a plan). The theory of evolution can be thought of in two different phases. The first phase is the time before the discovery of DNA. The second phase, the "post-DNA" phase of evolution, is the time after the discovery of DNA. Prior to the discovery of DNA, in 1953, the theory of evolution had no scientific merit to it. The "gradualism" predicted by Darwin was not to be found in the fossil record. In fact, the scientific establishment coined the term "punctuated equilibrium" to take its place because that is what they observed in the fossil record. We immediately see a problem. Suddenly, scientists embraced a term which meant exactly the opposite of what Darwin predicted. In other words, Darwin predicted new species would gradually appear in the fossil record (i.e. "gradualism"), but scientists observed new species arriving in "clumps" (i.e. punctuated equilibrium), such as in the Cambrian Explosion. Scientists disproved the theory of evolution, but instead of dropping Darwin they coined a new term and continued to push the theory of evolution. What is wrong with this picture? But even clever terminology was not saving the theory of evolution because people remembered Darwin's claims and it was obvious that the data from paleontologists was never going to support any of the predictions of Darwin. According to one author the theory of evolution was dying a slow death. With the discovery of DNA in 1953, the entire foundation of the theory of evolution had to change. The theory of evolution now had to be explained in terms of random mutations to the nucleotides on DNA. The reason "random mutations" to nucleotides had to create new species is that a "species" could now defined by its unique DNA. Thus, to create a new species you had to have new DNA. This new DNA (for the new species) would have had to have been a modification to the DNA of a species which already existed. But this modification to create "new" DNA from "old" or "existing" DNA had to be totally random because the theory of evolution (per Darwin) does not claim there is a God, so there cannot be any "intelligence" (i.e. from God) which could intelligently redesign the DNA of an "old" species in order to create the DNA of a "new" species!!" In other words, if there is a "new" species there must be "new" DNA. But the "new" DNA (according to evolution) had to be a totally random modification of "old" DNA because Darwin claimed there is no intelligence (i.e. no God) to design the new DNA!! The keyword is "random." Either there was intelligence or it was totally random. Darwin rejected any intelligence, thus only "random" is left for the theory of evolution. In summary, with the discovery of DNA, evolutionists now had to explain how "old" or "existing" DNA (of an existing species) could be totally randomly mutated such that a "new and improved" species, with new and improved DNA, could come to exist.
The Problems For Evolution BeginOne problem for evolution was that randomness has never in the history of science been claimed to have created anything functional and human DNA is the most sophisticated and functional object on earth!!! With the discovery of DNA the death of the theory of evolution was inevitable because it was obvious that the mathematics of probability, as scientists gradually increased their understanding of the sophistication of DNA, would eventually kill evolution. This is exactly what has happened!! As the understanding of the complexity of DNA has slowly unraveled, the theory of evolution has become more and more absurd (as this book will show). But a strange thing happened on the way to the funeral of the theory of evolution. The theory of evolution was given new life. But the new life had absolutely nothing to do with scientific discoveries!! How did the theory of evolution continue to be an accepted scientific theory when all scientific evidence overwhelmingly pointed to the fact that it was mathematically impossible to randomly mutate incomprehensibly complex DNA and end up with even more incomprehensibly complex DNA??? There were (and still are) four key engines which have kept the theory of evolution alive. The first engine was money. Great amounts of money were used to "buy" the opinions of many people, especially the "opinions" of the scientific establishment. It was not so much that the money was given directly to the scientists, but rather it was given for "research," as long as the "research" came to the conclusions the donors wanted. The money was also used to control the courts so that the theory of evolution would be forced to be taught in the schools, as just one example. It is far beyond the scope of this book to explain who the donors were, and why they made their donations, but for now rest assured that the money was given specifically so the theory of evolution would not go away!! I will only say that the main donations came from people who had a huge financial interest in the theory of evolution. To them, the theory of evolution could create massive amounts of profits if people were not sure God existed. They were right. The second engine was "naturalism" or "atheism." Many very influential people high in the scientific establishment were like Darwin; meaning they too were atheists and they also wanted to push atheism/evolution at all costs, regardless of scientific evidence. But even with all this money and all of the atheism, there still needed to be some scientific evidence to justify perpetuating the theory of evolution. It turns out that there really was no scientific evidence for the post-DNA theory of evolution, however, there were massive deceptions which took the place of "evidence" and which not only kept the theory of evolution alive but have made it thrive far beyond the wildest dreams of its proponents!! Thus, the third engine was deception. But even these three engines could not keep the theory of evolution alive if it weren't for the fourth engine: control of information, meaning the control of information that students and the general public were exposed to. There is no "evolution debate" because those people who are opposed to the theory of evolution are totally blacklisted and shut-out from the public eye. The control of information (i.e. the suppression of evidence against evolution) has been total and absolute in the main media and the universities. Critics of the theory of evolution have been silenced (i.e. ignored or blacklisted) in the media, the scientific journals and the schools. Given the amount of money the pro-evolutionists had at their disposal, and the fact that the media is controlled by "friends" of the people who were funding the theory of evolution, it was easy to prevent the general public from hearing both sides of the debate. Controlling what was taught in the schools took a little longer, but eventually this was also accomplished mostly due to judges who were "influenced" by a variety of sources. The critics of evolution were eventually totally silenced and now exist only in small groups and on the Internet. The four engines of evolution: money, atheism, deception, and the control of information, have pushed the theory of evolution far over the edge of reluctant acceptance and pushed it high into the level of stardom. Thus, even though the post-DNA theory of evolution is far, far more absurd than the theory of evolution in Darwin's day, the theory of evolution has never been more popular. While the theory of evolution basks in the light of fame; from a scientific perspective, there is only one way to describe the theory of evolution today: it is the greatest scientific fraud in the history of mankind!! The evolution fraud exists because of carefully designed deception in the scientific establishment, the media and in other places. So what is an example of the great deception? One example is the use of "tricky" definitions. What key word, with a deceptive definition, is at the foundation of the great deception? The keyword is the word "evolution" itself! The reader will see that the term "evolution" as originally defined by Darwin (i.e. who claimed that modern species, and especially humans, "evolved" over millions of years from lower forms of life) and the term "evolution" as used in daily conversation by scientists today are totally different!! In the next chapter we will talk about how the word "evolution" should be defined. In the third chapter we will talk about how the scientific establishment defines "evolution." The next two chapters turn out to be very, very important because they are at the core of the evolution debate (i.e. the great deception) and introduce the reader to the mindset, tactics and lack of integrity of the scientific establishment!! The theory of evolution is not a scientific debate (the theory of evolution is so absurd there is nothing to debate); rather the battle can only be a quest to find the truth.
