Chapter 5: The Interaction of Randomness and Natural SelectionDarwin claimed that all species came to exist by chance, coupled with natural selection, over many millions of years. Even after the discovery of DNA, scientists have continued to use the concepts of randomness and "natural selection" as being the engine which drove evolution. Scientists (i.e. the scientific establishment) do not want evolution to depend exclusively on "randomness" to create intelligence, thus scientists claim that "natural selection" weeded out inferior DNA and this allowed superior DNA to slowly "evolve" into higher and higher intelligence. In other words, modern evolution claims that randomness created the DNA, and that some of the DNA was better than other DNA. Then "natural selection" eliminated the inferior DNA (i.e. it eliminated the inferior species which in turn eliminated its inferior DNA). Note that if two species fight it out to the death (i.e. "species versus species"), both species must exist prior to natural selection eliminating one of the species!! In other words, natural selection has nothing to do until at least two species already exist!! Natural Selection is all about fighting and killing. It is hard to imagine that fighting and killing could lead to new and improved DNA (i.e. to new and improved species). When two species come into contact with each other, "natural selection" can only eliminate the inferior species. Natural selection cannot create any new and improved DNA!! Because natural selection does not come into play until after at least two species have been accidentally created, and at least one of the species is able to kill the other species, it must be asked how killing a species makes the surviving species have better DNA? It would be absurd to claim that the DNA of a species was improved by killing off a weaker species!! If the surviving species is to "evolve" into an even more superior species, only totally random mutations to the DNA of reproductive cells can make its DNA superior in future generations. Natural selection never has anything to do with analyzing, designing, creating or changing DNA. Natural selection can only destroy species that already exist. This means natural selection can only destroy DNA that already exists. This means that natural selection destroys the intelligence which was on the DNA of the extinct species!! Because natural selection can only destroy existing DNA and the intelligence on that DNA, natural selection can only reduce the overall gene pool on the planet earth. In other words, not only does natural selection not increase the planet's gene pool, it actually decreases our planet's gene pool!! Evolutionists talk as if "natural selection" was critical in creating new species. This claim is based on pre-DNA concepts and is nonsense in the age of knowing about DNA. Natural selection doesn't create anything, it only destroys things after they are created. For example, suppose there were 10,000 species on the earth. Suppose "natural selection" destroyed 600 of these species. Has the overall gene pool increased? No, it has decreased. Has anything happened in the destruction of these 600 species that has improved any DNA on the planet. No, it hasn't. The gene pool has decreased, not increased. While the "average" sophistication of DNA, for all species, may or may not have increased, how does this lead to new and improved DNA? New and improved DNA has only one option to form; and that is by totally random, totally without direction and totally without design mutations on existing DNA. Natural selection has absolutely nothing to do with the formation of new species because it has nothing to do with what happens at the DNA level. Natural selection may prevent new inferior species from forming but it has nothing to do with forming superior species!!
Does Natural Selection Work At the DNA Level?Some people have claimed that evolution works at the DNA level. Does a section of DNA monitor the survival of a species, then adjust itself if it does not have the best survival skills?? How does a DNA strand, which is inside of a cell nucleus, and the nucleus is inside of a cell, monitor the world outside the body of the animal?? And even if it could monitor the outside world, how would it know which nucleotides to change to achieve better survival skills and how could it change its own nucleotides?? How could the DNA intelligently know which nucleotides to change and what to change them into, and which nucleotides to delete and which nucleotides to add and where to put them? And even if it "knew," how could it implement the changes? How can one section of DNA intelligently change another section of DNA? Suppose there was an intelligent section of DNA, which I will call the "designer section," which has the ability to design new DNA sections elsewhere on the DNA and to get them changed? What if the new species needed a new "designer section" because the new species was far more sophisticated than what the old species "designer section" could design? What section of the old DNA could intelligently change the "design section" of the old DNA? If humans are not even remotely smart enough to redesign a DNA molecule, how are a bunch of individual nucleotides going to know how to redesign a DNA molecule?? How is a DNA segment going to change another section of nucleotides into something the DNA has "never seen" or even imagined? We are talking about a segment of DNA, not a team of scientists!! DNA consists of many cookie cutters (genes), many instruction books, many computer algorithms, etc. DNA is inside of the cell nucleus and does not have any sensors or any communication abilities outside of the cell. Cookie cutters, computer algorithms, etc. cannot monitor the survival of a species and cannot intelligently adjust themselves in order to "adapt." Try to write a computer program that can evaluate its performance in the real world and then physically redesign its programming and then physically change itself in order to improve its performance. Good luck. Furthermore, the cells that would need to have their nucleotides changed would be in the reproductive cells, which are not exactly sitting inside the eyeballs (which is where the animal monitors the outside world). How would the DNA, living inside the nucleus, inside the cells in the eyeball, communicate with the DNA, inside the nucleus, inside the cells in the reproductive organs? But more importantly, how could a DNA strand know how to intelligently change itself and then implement those changes? Natural selection can only happen at the level of the species. Either the species survives or it doesn't!! Natural selection cannot intelligently design or change DNA, it can only create extinction and thus decrease the overall DNA intelligence on the planet.
How Does New DNA Get Created?So how does new DNA get created? The only option left for evolutionists is to claim that the creation of new or improved DNA was and is random mutations to DNA in reproductive cells. It is pure randomness, and only pure randomness, that can create new genes and new genetic algorithms according to evolution!! Evolutionists must preach that the massive, massive sophistication of the DNA patterns and algorithms came to exist purely by chance (i.e. randomness). Evolutionists don't like to talk about the statistical probability of evolution. They simply say: "we exist, therefore evolution must be true." However, if God exists, and if God designed and created human DNA, then that would also explain why we exist!!!! So how does our existence prove that evolution is true and we shouldn't talk about the statistical problems with DNA? Their logic is absurd. Sometimes evolutionists claim: "we exist, therefore evolution must be true." Both those who support the theory of evolution and those who believe in a Supreme Being claim that they can explain the existence of human DNA; therefore the existence of humans cannot be used as evidence for either the theory of evolution or a belief in God.
The Model of EvolutionThis is the model of the theory of evolution: 1) Every nucleotide that is deleted, added or changed in any DNA is deleted, added or created purely by chance. There is no design, no plan, no intelligence, no goal, no monitoring, etc. in the deletion, adding or changing of any DNA!!! The location of which nucleotides are deleted, added or changed is totally random. When a nucleotide is added, the type of new nucleotide is totally random. When a nucleotide is changed, the new type of nucleotide is totally random. 2) Random mutations are only significant (to evolution) when they occur in the reproductive cells (of complex species) if they are to be passed on to the next generation, These cells are a very, very small percentage of all cells in advanced species. 3) Natural selection only destroys DNA and reduces the overall gene pool. Natural selection destroys previously created intelligence on DNA. Natural selection only destroys and has absolutely nothing to do with designing, creating or changing of DNA. Natural selection is only about fighting and killing existing species and has nothing to do with creating. These are the three items in the model of evolution!! If this model of evolution had any scientific merit then all large corporations could fire all of their computer programmers and replace them with computer algorithms (which mirror the interaction of natural selection and randomly generated computer code) to write all of their new and improved computer programs. Computers are many, many quadrillions of times faster than the theory of evolution would have been, so if the theory behind the theory of evolution were true, computer programmers would soon become extinct (as a profession). But no corporation would do such a ridiculous thing because the theory behind evolution is mathematical nonsense. The theory that you can create incomprehensible intelligence by purely random processes, coupled with an algorithm which does nothing but destroy previously created intelligence (i.e. natural selection), has never been supported by real scientific data. Destroying intelligence does not create new and improved intelligence!! Not even basic computer programs have ever been created by exclusively using randomly generated "bits" of code. And human DNA is many, many times more complex and sophisticated than the most sophisticated computer program on earth! In the next chapter we will graphically look at how absurd the claims of evolution really are. As they say: a pictures is worth a thousand words.
